Kris Clark
S/Sgt. Kris Clark is the Senior Media Relations Officer for the B.C. RCMP and has over 19 years of experience in law enforcement. S/Sgt. Clark has worked in federal, provincial and municipal policing with postings that include both small, rural communities as well as larger centres in B.C., along with several years as a use of force instructor at the RCMP Training Academy (Depot) in Saskatchewan.

In his current role, S/Sgt. Clark overseas a small team of Advisory NCOs providing advice, guidance and training to media relations officers across B.C., and beyond. He also supports protective services, providing media security during VIP and major events, such as the recent papal visit.

In 2010, S/Sgt. Clark participated in one of the earliest RCMP pilots for body-worn cameras, which assessed multiple devices and provided valuable information for the project. All these years later, he is excited about the rollout of this new tool to frontline B.C. RCMP officers, scheduled to start this fall.

As a husband and proud father of three, S/Sgt. Clark continuously balances the demands of work and family, while finding time to play hockey and coach youth soccer.
