Blue Line Expo postponed to Sept. 29 due to COVID-19

March 19, 2020  By Staff

Events around the globe are being postponed due to growing concerns about Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), a respiratory disease, that has spread to more than 140 countries. As it is a newly-identified virus, this is an emerging and rapidly-evolving situation as new information becomes available daily.

Thank you for your patience as we monitor the situation.

Canada’s Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Theresa Tam said Sunday that 25,000 COVID-19 tests have been done across the country to date and there has been a “rapidly increasing” number of cases, particularly in Ontario, B.C. and Alberta.

“Our window to flatten the curve of the epidemic is narrow,” Tam said. “We all need to act now. COVID-19 is a serious public health threat.”

With the developments across Canada, we decided Blue Line Expo 2020 will be postponed.

Having spent the past several months preparing for the event with our speakers, exhibitors and event partner, we’re genuinely disappointed not to be able to host you on April 21 but the experience and safety of our community and everyone involved in the event continues to be our top priority.

We are now excited to share we have a new date and location.

Join us on Sept. 29, 2020, in Marshall Hall at Bingemans Conference Centre in Kitchener, Ont.

We are thrilled to be on site in the Kitchener-Waterloo region, a well-known tech hub, to bring together the best of law enforcement for a day of learning, networking and review of the latest technology, services and products shaping the market.

Thank you to our show partner, CTOA, as well as our sponsors, exhibitors, speakers and those who have already registered for your understanding in these unprecedented times.
